If you have a cat, know a cat, or have seen a cat in passing, just know that they hate you. Some express their distaste readily by scratching or biting, while others take a more nuanced approach: vomiting in your bed and letting you discover it at the end of a long hard day (aka any day in quarantine). Thank you, cats. You're the real heroes. Just when we thought being trapped in our homes couldn't get worse, you remind us that it can: when we stick our hand into your half-dried abomination strategically ejected onto the bed sheets. **SLOW CLAP FOREVER** #MPFA #makepoetryfunagain #millennialAF #kayenjee #haikusday #caturday
I enjoy holidays. I include birthdays among them. They are a time to socialize, a rare treat for me, as well as eat unusual fare. Parties are a great time to debut new food because if it turns out to be an abject failure (barring food poisoning), at least I'm not stuck eating all of it. Sound logic. What do you think? We're all going through a lot right now. Whenever you're reading this, we still might be going through a lot. Two words and four letters don't accurately encompass the magnitude of a global pandemic, but somehow in their simplicity, they speak to the primal nature of the obstacle we're collectively and individually facing. I wonder, once we overcome this uphill struggle, after all of our illusions and delusions of stability and control have been obliterated, how will any of us go back to "normal"? I mean, in good conscience, how can we? Also, are we entering officially entering the ubiquitous dystopian future? #Haikusday #MPFA #kayenjee #millennialAF
