We each have a voice. Sometimes, it's a quiet reserved thing that we keep muzzled and sedated. A brave few can summon the vulnerability necessary to unabashedly amplify a message larger than ourselves.

Remember in high school economics when you learned about TINSTAAFL: There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch? Yeah, me either. I think my brain is suffering from the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility. #haikusday #millennialAF #MPFA #makepoetryfunagain #TINSTAAFL
Thus far, 2020 has been a weird year: in the best of ways, in the worst of ways, and in ways I haven't made my mind up about yet. At the two-thirds mark, I'm entering a season of existential angst which is uncomfortable, but also refreshing. If I am feeling, I am still alive; even if those feelings are painful. In my discomfort I am forced to seek refuge in thoughts, art, music, and all the good things that I never paid much attention to before. In this space, in this time that has slowed to an excruciating crawl, sitting still is much easier than before. And although I already knew Him, in this calm, I remember God.
