I hope this post finds you well. Good Tuesday, and welcome to another installment of the riveting and family-friendly edition of "Who Am I?": a haikusday series that explores the animal kingdom in seventeen syllables. Today's feature is....well, you guess. Photo by Skitterphoto from Pexels. Poetry by me, kayenjee. #kayenjee #Haikusday #whoamI #MPFA #makepoetryfunagain

Happy Tuesday, y'all. At least, I think it's Tuesday. I can't remember what day I started etching marks on the wall. This is a very unhelpful method of time-keeping. #kayenjee #haikusday #millennialAF
In a special edition of #haikusday.... surprise it's Wednesday! I'm not intentionally posting late, but it's my birthday, so let's pretend that it was planned. Today I'm serving up more quarantine realness since no one can remember what day it is anymore and it's my birthday and I do what I want. Just remember for what's left of today, when you're washing your hands to the "Happy Birthday" song (twice!), pretend it's for me. Thanks. And stay safe frens. Here's some abstracted sprinkles; partake in my honor. Art and words by me. I used PicMonkey for the sweet graphics. #haikusday #kayenjee #happybirthdaytome #ariesseason
#MPFA #makepoetryfunagain #millennialAF This quarantine is getting to me. I'm fairly certain it is getting to us all. I mean, I thought I missed Tuesday entirely, only to discover I had just stayed up past midnight. So, the days have advanced from "blending" together to "bleeding" together like some sadistic watercolor. Maybe this pandemic is an abstracted piece of art, and God is the only one far enough removed to truly appreciate its beauty. From the fray, humanity lacks the perspective to appreciate the magnificence of it all. Or perhaps, I've been thinking too much. Help me. OK, those were lyrics from "Ride". On to the poetry... Stay home. Stay safe. Stay sane. Stay alive. Until later, frens. #haikusday #kayenjee #MPFA #makepoetryfunagain
